Privacy Policy
Overview
AnyStash helps you run Live Activities, event sessions, location history, and global variables from Shortcuts. We designed the app to keep your data on your device by default.
Data We Process
- Location you choose to attach when checking in or recording sessions (we do not track your location continuously in the background).
- Event sessions, notes, categories, and location history you create in the app or via Shortcuts.
- Global variables and files you choose to store in the app, or in iCloud Drive if you turn that option on.
- Optional photos, videos, or files you attach to file variables.
- Whether you have purchased Pro Lifetime (purchases are handled by Apple; we do not require a separate AnyStash account).
How Data Is Stored
Your app data stays on your device by default. If you sign in to iCloud and enable iCloud Drive for AnyStash, some files and data may sync across your devices through your Apple ID. We do not operate our own servers to store your sessions or variables.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not sell your personal data. The app does not include third-party advertising or tracking. We do not require you to create an AnyStash account.
Permissions
- Location (When In Use): only when you check in or attach your current location to an action.
- Notifications / alarms: optional reminders when a timed Live Activity ends.
- Camera, microphone, and photo library: only when you add or capture media for file variables.
Your Choices
You can delete event sessions, location records, and variables in the app. Free users can remove data older than the 30-day browse window from Settings → Usage. You can turn off iCloud Drive storage for new files in Settings → Files.
Children
AnyStash is not directed at children under 13.
